happy things
1. Tour! stupid tour things found on twitter: biker tan, lance and george still being friends, Columbia....okay, I have no idea what happened here.
2. Entourage! I am so excited about this season, especially since it's going to be an 'up' to last season's 'down.' I still find Vincent totally adorable, despite thinking I should at least occasionally find him an ass, but, nope. (MY CRUSH, LET ME SHOW YOU IT) Also, how much do I love that the major plot point in the first episode was "Are Vincent and E too co-dependent to live apart?" Given that the final scene was Vincent sitting along in his house in the dark being lonely, I'm voting yes.
3. Top Chef Masters! All the culinary ridic of regular Top Chef, none of the season-long drama and ego battles! Seriously. Of the 16 chefs they've featured so far (4 in each episode), I'd like to hang out with 13 of them. (2 of them made an unfortunate comedy duo but might be okay when not together, 1 was just an asshole.) Since these are established chefs with reputations and restaurants and in some cases stars and they're playing for charity, it seems like there's a lot less pressure on them to prove themselves, so they can sit there and laugh and go, 'shit, that didn't turn out at all.' The first episode, in which they cooked in dorm rooms (no, literally - microwave and toaster over on the desk, hot plate on the bookshelf, bed used as a plating area, and the student who lived there stopping by every now and again to see how things are going) had me laughing so hard I nearly cried. Plus, totally bizarre completions of the sentence "Cooking is like...." (DJing! Sports! Music!)
